In and around Lisbon

Flew into Lisbon Spent 2 nights in an AirBnB in the old city, a great spot to feel like a local.  Definitely you do not want a car if you are staying inside the city. Walked around to a great food lot area, checked out the fortress Castelo de S. Jorge at the top of the hill (worth the entrance fee, the views are amazing!).  Nursed the baby.  Got on the time zone.  Changed a diaper.  The usual. Ate good food, especially the seafood. Upon return, before flying out to Nice, France, we spent the night in the Sintra area.  This was such a cool place!  It is much more moist out on that point, with fog rolling in and thick forests.  We actually stayed a bit east of Sintra, just south of a town called Colares, at this fantastic lodge, the Old Cellar House - by far the best value we had seen yet.  The room was about $60E and came with free breakfast, a large room, a cozy bed, and a shower spigot that sprayed so hard it could hit the ceiling 14' away.
