Kaui is a sleepy little island with lots of relaxing to be had. It can be done on a budget, but camping here is not quite like camping for cheap in the national parks mainside. Turns out, people live, fulltime, in these campsites, and you need to be careful you do not disturb them. Or the stray cats. And lock you car. We were fine, but can see why people choose to not sleep on the ground in a tent.
