We returned to Nairobi for a night (again at the awesome and highly recommended Sankara Hotel) on our way to Tsavo. It was a lot of driving, and our driver Sam was a champion. Roads are rough, traffic can be bad, and he was alert all the time, even ready for our afternoon game drive.

Tsavo West National Park

 

This spider was huge, about 4”. We wanted to get near it for scale in the photograph but it was just too creepy.

 

Amboseli National Park
