Kenya Safaris and Beaches

Spending time in Kenya is a wonderful thing.  I had not been back since my first visit in 2003, and not a lot had changed.  What had changed seemed to have been for the better – required education for all children, paving (and creation of) off-ramps from the highways, better treatment of workers and women in the work force, and so on.

We decided to visit several national parks where I had been before, plus a visit to El Karama Ranch, recommended by a friend from my 2003 studies.

After hiking both Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro, we took to the beaches on the Indian Ocean.

Kenya will always have a special place in my heart, and I am sure it does for Griffin as well.
